Vitae

Tzu-Ping Lin is Professor of Department of Architecture at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Taiwan, where he has been since 2013. He was professor of Program of Landscape and Recreation in National Chung Hsing University(NCHU) and during 2011-2013 and he was the head of the Department of Leisure and recreation at National Formosa University (NFU) during 2008-2011. He received his Ph.D. in Architecture from the NCKU in 2002. From 1999 to 2001 he worked at Chang’s Architect Associate in Taichung. He is now on the committee of Green Building Council of Taiwan. He is the leader of the Labs of Climate and Environment, which deal with outdoor thermal comfort, climate adaptation, sustainable design, energy conservation, low-carbon issues in the field of architecture, building and tourism.
